Alan B. Miller Medical Center opening in Spring 2026!

A neighborhood hospital with medical center excellence! The new state-of-the-art hospital will join UHS’ growing regional network of healthcare operations which includes Wellington Regional Medical Center, the ER at Westlake (an extension of Wellington Regional Medical Center), Wellington Physicians Urgent Care and other healthcare services and access points. The Alan B. Miller Medical Center will feature 150 private patient rooms, a medical office building and a helistop. Upon completion of the initial phase of the project, the hospital campus will include 365,000 square feet of hospital and medical office space. The new Medical Center will offer comprehensive medical services including Emergency Care, Orthopedics and Surgical Services, Labor and Delivery, Neonatal Intensive Care, Oncology, Cardiovascular and Neurosurgical services. In addition, the campus will be home to medical office buildings that will provide outpatient services.

Clinical Supervisor RN, MS/TELE (7p-7a)

Provides shift to shift oversight for clinical practice, staffing, patient flow, safety, service, and utilization of resources for daily operations.  Maintains the environment of care. Provides care to patients in a competent, capable, caring, and efficient manner. The care provided is appropriate to the age of the patients .  Role models organizational values. Provides real-time feedback to staff to improve performance. Leads/ Participates in department process improvement to improve projects outcomes. Facilitates employee engagement activities including professional/shared governance participation

Education Requirements:

• Technical School/Years College / associate's degree in nursing required .

• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred . Must be obtained within 2 years of hire date.

Experience:

• 1 year charge nurse experience preferred 

• Professional experience that demonstrates the ability to understand the clinical practice environment. 2 years clinical nursing experience preferred  .

• Member of professional practice organization pertinent to area of practice preferred.

Skills:

• Effective interpersonal skills

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written

• Ability to maintain confidentiality 

• Ability to adapt to multiple and changing priorities

• Ability to conceptualize the patient flow process and its impact at the unit and hospital level

• Ability to implement and sustain process changes to improve department and organizational outcomes

License / Certification:

• Current RN license in Florida required

• Certification in specialty preferred

• Successful completion of unit specific certifications ( BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, NRP, chemotherapy certification, etc.)
