Speech Therapist (SLP) PRN
- Assist in acquiring adaptive communication devices and instruct residents in their use.
- Create personalized therapy plans based on each resident’s unique needs and capabilities.
- Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to design the best therapeutic regimens.
- Instruct residents in techniques for communication, evaluating their progress regularly.
- Adjust therapy activities to meet residents’ evolving needs.
- Participate in care planning meetings and interdisciplinary discussions.
- Conduct staff training and supervise therapy support personnel in accordance with standards.
- Deliver services with compassion, upholding residents’ dignity and individual rights.
- Graduate of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- Certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida.
