Experienced Fine Gardener
Landcrafters Florida is looking for a stud in the garden—not just someone who loves plants, but someone who lives and breathes quality. We’re not after average—we want a fine gardener who can lead from the front, has an expert eye, and takes massive pride in crafting beautiful, Florida-friendly gardens that stop people in their tracks.
You’ll be part of our elite Horticulture Division, working directly with our Horticultural Manager, leading your crew, and getting your hands dirty in some of the most beautiful properties in Tampa Bay. We're talking true craftsmanship—selective hand pruning, detailed container installations, pest ID without blinking, and a mindset that treats each landscape like it’s your own.
What You’ll Be Doing
Precision pruning of ornamental trees, shrubs, and vines (no hacks here)
Keeping perennials, roses, and seasonal color sharp, full, and thriving
Designing and installing plant material in gardens and containers
Spotting pests, diagnosing disease, and treating fast
Building relationships with high-end clients who expect the best
Daily tasks like watering, staking, mulching, and grooming—but always to the highest standard
What You Bring to the Table
Two years of fine gardening experience minimum (degree is a plus but not required if you’ve got real skill)
Deep plant knowledge—especially Florida natives and tropicals
Ability to diagnose and treat pest/disease issues
Master of proper pruning, planting, and garden maintenance techniques
Great attitude, reliable, and willing to lead by example
Able to lift 50 lbs and keep up with the pace
Valid driver's license

$24–$27/hour based on experience
