Commercial Construction Project Manager
PLC Construction FL, LLC is currently seeking a Project Manager in the Central Florida area with commercial construction management experience.
Successful candidates will have previous experience creating and managing project budgets, schedules, procurements and contracts while communicating regularly with owners and consultants to maintain project quality, safety and performance.

Qualifications/Skill Requirements
• MUST have at least 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in the commercial construction industry.
• Communicate timely and effectively with owners, consultants, co-workers, sub-contractors, municipalities and other government agencies to maintain positive relationships.
• Coordinate pre-construction budgeting, conceptual, schematic and design development phases of construction.
• Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, minutes and project correspondence to ensure overall project objectives are met.
• Provide accurate and timely monthly project and budget reporting by monitoring project costs, controlling expenses, and ensuring the project stays within budget through project completion.
• Responsible for preparing and updating the project schedule and assist superintendent with coordinating subcontractors, identifying potential delays and implementing corrective actions to achieve milestone dates and project deadlines throughout construction to maintain the schedule.
• Prepare and review shop drawings, submittals and RFI’s.
• Managing contracts with subcontractors, vendors, and other project partners.
• Review and submit monthly cost reports and pay applications for payment.
• Monitor safety compliance ensuring that all safety regulations and standards are followed on the construction site.
• Strong communication skills to address and resolve project issues as they arise, working collaboratively with the team to find solutions.
Education Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, engineering/architecture or related field. (preferred)
• 5+ years of project management or field experience equivalent.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project (or similar scheduling software).
• Understanding of basic construction business and construction law.
