RN Clinical Team Leader - Pediatric CVOR

The Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at JHACH has 2 operating rooms with care provided to children with congenital heart defects. Patients range in age from newborn to young adults. A multidisciplinary team including surgeons, APPs, CSTs, Nursing, and Anesthesiology provide comprehensive care to address the patient's needs.

POSITION SUMMARY :

The RN Clinical Team Leader provides patient centered, specialized, evidence based nursing care across the continuum through an interprofessional approach to treatment, research, education and advocacy. Contributes to the goals of the department by being accountable for the delivery of compassionate and safe care within the scope of practice as defined by the Florida Board of Nursing and JHACH policy. Through collaborative practice with all members of the care team, is responsible for patient outcomes which meet the high quality of care provided by JHACH. The professional practice of nursing at JHACH involves the promotion of a culture of innovation and a commitment to academic growth and professional development.

Work Location: St. Petersburg, FL
Work Hours: M-F either 8 or 10 hour shifts. After Hours and Weekend Call Required!

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing
• Current Florida RN Licensure
• 3 years of experience in an acute care setting
• BLS required
• Certification within one year in area of specialty

Salary Range: Minimum 40.95/hour - Maximum 63.95/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
