Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes, filter replacements, and engine tune-ups.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using advanced diagnostic tools.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle systems, including suspensions, steering, and exhausts.
- Diagnose, repair, and replace diesel engines
- Diagnose, repair, and replace transmissions and drive line components.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality service.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational training program in diesel technology preferred.
- ASE Diesel Certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a diesel mechanic or technician.
- Strong understanding of diesel engine systems, electrical systems, and mechanical components.
- Proficiency with computerized diagnostic equipment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license; CDL is advantageous.
