One Tech Engineering is looking for a Contract Manager for a position located in Fort Myers, Florida. The Contract Manager will be reviewing solicitations and identifying contract risk assessment/mitigation and recommendations.
The candidate must be a US Citizen or a green card holder, the position is not eligible for sponsorship. The candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience performing contract administration or related business support duties for a Construction Prime Contractor or Equipment Manufacturer.
Contract Manager Responsibilities:
- Supporting the team with and during contract negotiations.
- Working with different commercial, municipal, and construction contract types and agreements.
- Administering and managing multiple contracts.
- Timely processing and communication of multiple contract requirements, agreements, and modifications.
- Tracking performance for compliance with contract terms and conditions as well as other applicable administrative and regulatory requirements.
- Maintaining contract files and associated documentation.
- Identifying contract issues early and communicating effectively.
- Interacting regularly with Project Management, Engineering, Contract, Purchasing, Finance, and other business functions to support contract requirements.
- Foster a culture of teamwork and relationship building with internal stakeholders/team members and customers.
- Perform reasonably similar or related duties as needed.
- Conduct all activities within the guidelines of company policies, procedures, and work rules.
Requirements of the Contract Manager:
- Bachelor’s Degree and five years’ experience performing contract administration or related business support duties for a Construction Prime Contractor or Equipment Manufacturer.
- Paralegal or Application experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree.
- Proficient in: Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SAP.
- Has the ability to exercise good judgement in a variety of situations with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
