Job Summary

Be the face that sets the tone! As a Host/Hostess, you will welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, manage the flow of the dining room, and ensure each guest starts their experience with a smile. You’ll coordinate seating, communicate wait times, and support the overall guest experience from arrival to departure.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a front-of-house or guest-facing role preferred

• Familiarity with restaurant reservation or seating software (e.g., OpenTable)

• Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a fast-paced environment

• Strong communication and multitasking skills

• Valid food handler certification (if required by local regulations)

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival

• Manage waitlist and seating rotation to optimize flow

• Communicate clearly with servers and management

• Handle guest inquiries and provide accurate wait times

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance

• Assist in resetting tables and supporting other front-of-house staff as needed
