Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at a middle school in Gulf Breeze, FL. This role involves providing specialized speech therapy services to two students on the caseload. The position requires delivering direct therapy for a total of one hour per week, split into two 30-minute sessions with each student.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language evaluations and assessments for assigned students
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to students needs
- Provide direct speech therapy services in one-on-one or small group settings
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress and therapy sessions
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a middle school setting
- Knowledge of speech-language disorders and evidence-based therapy techniques
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a small caseload efficiently
