Front of the House (FOH) Manager Whale Harbor Group Restaurants – Islamorada, Florida Lead Exceptional Hospitality in the Beautiful Florida Keys

The Whale Harbor Group Restaurants is seeking an experienced, energetic, and guest-focused Front of the House Manager to join our leadership team. This is an exciting opportunity to lead service operations for one of the Florida Keys' premier restaurant groups, which includes Wahoo's Seafood Bar & Grill, Flagler Station Steakhouse, Hog Heaven Sports Bar & Grill , and several exciting new concepts currently under development.

• Lead all front-of-house operations while ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop servers, bartenders, hosts, bussers, and support staff.
• Maintain the highest standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Manage daily floor operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Resolve guest concerns professionally and create positive guest recovery experiences.
• Monitor labor costs and scheduling to maximize productivity while maintaining service standards.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, food safety, alcohol service, and health department regulations.
• Oversee POS operations, cash handling, and end-of-day reporting.
• Coach staff on upselling, suggestive selling, and increasing guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with the kitchen management team to ensure seamless communication between the front and back of the house.
• Assist with special events, catering, and promotional activities.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, professionalism, and continuous improvement.

• Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent guest service and hospitality mindset.
• Experience managing labor, scheduling, and operational costs.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of POS systems (Toast experience is a plus).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Fine dining or upscale casual restaurant experience.
• Wine, beer, and spirits knowledge.
• Experience with inventory controls and cost management.
• Previous multi-unit experience is a plus.
