Position: Curator (Budtender)

Job Type: Part-Time, hourly

Compensation: $15-$17 hourly - DOE

Role Summary:

Are you passionate about alternative medicine and eager to make a difference in the lives of others? We are seeking a friendly, knowledgeable, and compassionate Curator to be the welcoming face of Eden. In this role, you will assist patients by educating them about our products and helping guide their wellness journey. Your mission is to create a warm, engaging, and informative retail experience that aligns with Edens commitment to patient care, compliance, and community impact. Key responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome patients with warmth, professionalism, and genuine care.
• Provide exceptional customer service by guiding patients through Edens product offerings based on their unique wellness goals, symptoms, and consumption preferences.
• Educate patients on cannabis product types, routes of administration, dosing, proper usage, and benefits.
• Stay up to date on new product offerings and industry trends to share with patients.
• Process transactions and dispense medications accurately using the point-of-sale system.
• Maintain clean, organized, and visually appealing store and product displays.
• Participate in community outreach efforts to promote Edens mission and expand patient awareness.
• Ensure consistent adherence to all safety protocols, company SOPs, and state cannabis compliance regulations across all retail and storage areas.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive, supportive, and inclusive work environment.

Qualifications:

• Must be 21+ years of age and possess a valid government-issued ID.
• Must be able to pass and clear a Level II background screening and pre-employment drug screening.
• A passion for holistic health, wellness, and alternative medicine.
• Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cannabis products, alternative medicine, and their benefits preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with a diverse patient base.
• Professional demeanor with the ability to remain calm, compassionate, and focused in a dynamic environment.
• Detail oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training and education in the cannabis field.
• Must have open availability to work varied hours and cover staffing needs including mornings, evenings, weekends, cannabis centered days such as 4/20 and 7/10, and other holidays.

Physical Requirements:

• Must have the ability to stand for extended periods, exceeding 4 hours.
• Ability to bend, sit, and stand continuously during assigned shifts.
• Capable of independently lifting 30 pounds.
• Comfortable carrying out duties that may involve physical exertion in a busy retail environment.
