Senior Editor Location Orlando, FL (Metro West area) : Job Summary: Falcon's Creative Group is a diversified global entertainment, consumer experience, and technology enterprise that accelerates intellectual property (IP) activations concurrently across physical and digital experiences.

The Senior Editor will work closely with the Editorial, Production, and Marketing teams to coordinate and organize assets, edit, and develop motion graphics for a variety of projects.

Essential Functions:

  • Maintain project-based editorial schedule.
  • Develop motion graphics elements for titles, logos, infographics, 2.5d effects, lower thirds, subtitles, etc.
  • Organize, compile, and distribute media assets and presentation materials.
  • Produce rip-a-matics and animatics for conceptual iteration.
  • Coordinate with concept artists for video conversion of presentation materials.
  • Build organized and iterative editorial project files.
  • Coordinate with CG/Comp/Lighting teams for integration of advanced shots.
  • Apply editorial effects such as color correction, logos, titles, digital zooms, etc.
  • Revise editorial sequence iterations based on team and client feedback.
  • Export iterations and final edit in applicable formats for review and final delivery.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Must have a bachelor's degree or comparable experience, with 4 years of experience working as an editor and using non-linear editing tools. (Adobe Premiere preferred)
  • Extremely proficient in motion graphics tools.
  • Proficient with Adobe Photoshop and After Effects.
  • Extremely organized with a high level of attention to detail, especially to quality check final assets.
  • Communicative, proactive, problem solver, storyteller.
  • The ability to work both autonomously and with a team on assigned tasks.
  • Basic understanding of stereoscopic media.
  • Open and adaptable to new or specialized software/hardware/pipelines.
  • Experience working with a team in a mixed software environment.
  • Proficient understanding of audio integration and exports for video, including surround sound formats.
  • Experience w/ Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must have or be able to quickly acquire knowledge of company structure (mission, goals, and objectives), and policies and procedures.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
  • Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America.
  • Will not require Falcon's Treehouse, LLC to commence (“sponsor”) an immigration case in order to be employed (now or in the future).
  • Please note the senior editor will work on a PC.
  • A link to your demo reel is expected with submission.

Bonus Skills:

  • Experience with Shotgrid production tracking software.
  • Experience with social media, marketing, and/or advertising
  • Experience in AR/VR/MR/XR.
  • Experience in real-time engines.
