Project Coordinator
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to join our team in Miami, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing all aspects of construction projects from start to finish. This includes managing project timelines, communication with clients and contractors, and ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all phases of construction projects, including planning, budgeting, executing, monitoring, and closing.
- Create and maintain project timelines, ensuring that all tasks are completed according to schedule.
- Communicate and collaborate with clients, contractors, and other team members to ensure effective project coordination and timely delivery.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and roadblocks, taking proactive measures to keep projects on track.
- Manage project budgets and track expenses to ensure projects are completed within budget.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Prepare project reports, including status updates, cost analysis, and risk assessments.
- Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project status and any issues or delays.
- Foster positive relationships with clients, contractors, and team members to ensure smooth project coordination and successful project delivery.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and regulations to ensure compliance and continuously improve project management practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination, preferably in the construction industry.
- Knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed.
- Able to build and maintain positive relationships with clients and team members.
