Manager of Marketing, PR and Community Engagement

Development/Marketing

  • Research, source, document, and report all media potential, conversations, and engagement opportunities with an anticipated ROI to CEO and Dev. Director

  • Compile and manage the annual “Do Not Photograph” list of students on the East, West, and Volen Campuses.

  • Create and manage an all-campus marketing calendar (or comparable report) – including all program events, volunteer activities, and special events

  • Create, manage, and report on all marketing, appeal emails, social posts, and direct mailings

  • Manage and execute Website updates for all departments – Including all landing pages and buttons for events and donation appeals

  • Create, execute, and manage all social posts

  • Respond positively to all social posts on behalf of Fuller Center and bring negative comments to the attention of the CEO for guidance

  • Participate, produce, and manage all PR & marketing as it relates to all on-campus activities, fundraising events, and third-party activities – Including event invitations, program books, and media presentations

  • Assist where needed in all Agency events

  • Capture, label, and manage photos of all programs, on-campus activities, learnings, and special moments for marketing purposes.

  • Attend approved and relevant webinars and events on an as-needed basis: SWIB, PULSE, Smart Talk, etc.

  • Create and execute an internal monthly Newsletter – All department highlights included

  • Create and execute an external QTLY Newsletter – Include board spotlight, volunteer spotlight, campus highlight, upper management additions, upcoming fundraising events, donor and grantor acknowledgments, and other updates as assigned by CEO

  • Manage complete campus signage rebranding – Ensure all campus signage needs are met as the needs arise

  • Set up all marketing templates for all departments to use when creating print material and digital presentations – Templates to be approved by CEO, CPO, COO, and Dev. Director

  • Alert Dev. Director of relevant community engagement opportunities, if not already listed on CEO and/or Dev. Director calendar

  • Pull and email Dev. Director monthly social analytics and PR for Board Report

  • Manage all aspects, including creating, updating, ordering, and tracking of employee shirts, name badges, name tags, business cards, email signatures, and agency “SWAG”

  • Take an active role in the planning, filming, and editing of the agency videos, presentations, and photos in partnership with the CEO & Dev. Director

  • Work in partnership with CEO or Dev. Director on speaking engagements and campus tours as they arise

  • Take photos of in-kind donors and donations as needed/ requested


    Alum & Volunteers
  • Identify, steward, and manage Alum and Auxiliary members

  • Capture, create, and track story cards/ testimonials for all identified Alum, Parents, and Volunteers

  • Create and manage bi-annual Alumni, Auxiliary, and Volunteer appreciation event(s) while reaching the pre-determined fundraising goal approved by the Dev. Director – Done in partnership with the Volunteer Manager

  • Create and implement volunteer screenings and payments, onboarding, training, and on-campus experiences are fulfilled accurately to ensure an organized, professional, and enjoyable experience

  • Attend / participate as needed in Volunteer onboarding

  • Work with the Volunteer Manager to identify if the Volunteer would be a good Mentor, Donor, or Committee, or Board Member and bubble up prospects to Dev. Director

  • Work with Volunteer Manager to increase Volunteer recruitment & visibility

  • Work with Alum & Volunteers on speeches as the need arises

  • Support CEO & Volunteer Manager with the Leaving a Legacy (LOL) program as requested

  • Ensure ALL three campuses are adhering to the Alum & Volunteering Policies

  • Create and facilitate a semi-annual Mentor & Teen experience survey

  • Meet with Dev. Director as needed to discuss program successes, obstacles, potential, etc.

Misc:

  • Work with identified leadership team members (CEO, CPO, COO, Dev. Director) to ensure Tour Packet material is clearly labeled and saved in their respective drives. Ensure one example packet is available in each identified department at all times.

  • Actively participate as a member of the Development Department and identified Program Departments

  • Work with Dev. Department, Volunteer Manager, and Mentor & Teen team members to identify what campus you will work at and on what days. (Can be done on a weekly or monthly basis if needed.)

  • Ensure the Gift-in-Kind Policy is being adheared ot by staff to the best of your ability. Report any concerns to COO, CPO, and Dev. Director

  • Receive all incoming mail and keep records for all donations and Grants materials

  • Other duties as assigned by CEO, COO (Teen & Mentor Program) and Dev. Director

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, journalism, nonprofit management or equivalent combination of experience. A minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience.

Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Constant Contact, Adobe, and Canva.

Experience generating reports and interpreting the data.
Must have excellent writing, editing, proofreading and communication skills across multiple types of audiences, including internal leadership and staff.
