As a Parts Delivery Driver, you are a valued member of our team, performing:
- Pulls parts orders in warehouse for delivery
- Loads orders for delivery manually, with hand truck or forklift
- Checks vehicle for safety/maintenance issues daily
- Delivers parts to customer and ensures accuracy by matching parts to invoice
- Completes documentation necessary for the delivery and payment of goods
- Stocks items in warehouse, as needed
- Assist in other warehouse duties, as assigned.
- Operates company vehicles and equipment in a safe manner. Follows all state and local rules, laws and guidelines pertaining to operating a motor vehicle.
Preferred Candidates have the following:
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- DOT physical and resulting Medical Examiner's Certificate required
- Must pass a driving test
- Effective communication skills for relationship building with customers
- Basic math, reading, and ability to follow directions
- High School Education or GED preferred
Physical Demands & Work environment
- Regularly required to sit for extended periods of time while driving.
- Entry and exit from various types of vehicles multiple times daily.
- Regularly lift and move up to 50lbs.; occasionally required to lift and move weight greater than 50 lbs.
Compensation: $15 - $17/hour + incentive
