Welder

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Welder to join the team of a major Elevator Company in West Palm Beach. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with metal fabrication experience to contribute to high-quality elevator manufacturing. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable working in a manufacturing environment and can hit the ground running.

salary: $43,680 - $52,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM
education: High School

Responsibilities

Major Elevator company with almost 40 years experience is seeking a welder. The Welder will operate specialized welding machines to join sheet metal components, ensuring high-quality construction for elevator parts. This position requires technical skill, precision, and adherence to safety protocols in a dynamic shop environment.

Essential Functions

• Operate single and multi-head spot welding equipment.
• Operate Tig welder
• Operate Mig welder
• Set up welding machines according to specifications and project requirements.
• Inspect and test welds for strength, durability, and precision.
• Clean and maintain welding tips and equipment as needed.
• Perform manual handling of materials using small hand tools.
• Complete necessary paperwork and data entry accurately.

The essential functions of this role include:
