Identify, prospect, and generate leads to expand the company's presence in the US defense and public sector markets
Build and nurture partnerships using a consultative selling approach for SaaS/DaaS weather data solutions
Engage with diverse stakeholders including business leaders, software engineers, data scientists, and technical teams
Drive revenue growth through proactive outreach, opportunity qualification, and closing deals in a partnership-oriented model
Stay current on industry trends, weather technologies, and client needs to effectively communicate value propositions
Collaborate cross-functionally to tailor solutions and support engagements with government and defense organizations Qualifications: Minimum 5 years of proven sales experience, with a track record in B2B sales to public/government organizations in a partnership model
Mandatory background and experience in the weather industry / meteorology sector
Demonstrated success in assertive, proactive lead generation and new business development
Familiarity with consultative selling of SaaS or DaaS solutions (systems/data as a service, not hardware-focused)
Willingness and ability to travel as needed for client engagements
