Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and close projects according to deadlines and within budget.
• Conduct detailed site surveys and design advanced cabling systems.
• Prepare detailed Bill of Materials, Statements of Work, and proposal documents.
• Deliver technical presentations to clients and stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to pursue and acquire new business opportunities.
• Understand customer challenges and objectives to provide tailored solutions.
• Estimate labor and material requirements accurately for each project.
• Ensure projects are implemented according to labor and material estimates.
• Provide project foremen with detailed implementation information.
• Coordinate work crews and resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Manage material procurement and delivery to project sites efficiently.
• Track and document changes in project scope with approved change orders.
• Stay updated on industry changes and standards.
• Ensure quality and customer satisfaction in project installations.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Communicate project status and updates to stakeholders and team members.
• Manage project budgets and ensure financial targets are met.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to run ERP reports.
• Experience working with small telecommunication components such as fiber optic strands and small gauge copper wire.
• Ability to distinguish different colors of small conductor wire and fiber optic strands.
• Intermediate proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints for designing cable plant configurations.
• Thorough knowledge of physical plants, building structures, electrical and structural codes, and routing conditions for cabling.
• Low voltage experience is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of two years of college-level courses, preferably in computer sciences or business areas.
• For those with minimum educational requirements, a minimum of three years of direct industry-related work experience is required.
• PMP certification is a plus.
