Room Attendant - Evening Shift
- Perform evening refresh/turndown service in occupied guest rooms as assigned.
- Clean and maintain guest rooms, suites, and balconies according to resort standards.
- Replenish towels, linens, toiletries, coffee supplies, and guest amenities.
- Make beds, refresh room appearance, and ensure all room features are properly arranged.
- Remove trash, used linens, and room service items from guest rooms and hallways.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests for extra linens, towels, amenities, and other housekeeping needs.
- Inspect rooms to ensure cleanliness, functionality, and guest readiness.
- Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, lost-and-found items, and room deficiencies to the appropriate department.
- Maintain housekeeping carts, closets, and storage areas in a clean and organized condition.
- Assist with special cleaning projects and deep-cleaning assignments as directed.
- Follow all resort safety, sanitation, and housekeeping procedures.
- Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service to all guests and team members.
- Previous housekeeping, hotel, resort, or hospitality experience required.
- Ability to work evening shifts, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining productivity standards.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach throughout the shift.
- Frequently lift, push, pull, and carry up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to push housekeeping carts and transport supplies.
- Capable of performing repetitive cleaning tasks efficiently.
- Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and humidity common to beach environments.
- Must pass pre-employment background check.
Evening Shift: 3PM-11PM, weekend and holiday availability required. Pay:
$15.00/hr Work Environment This position operates in a fast-paced beach resort environment and requires interaction with guests, housekeeping staff, and other resort departments. The role may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, outdoor walkways, oceanfront conditions, and varying occupancy levels. TEL Staffing complies with regulations enforced by the EEOC. TEL Staffing is a drug-free workplace. This position may be Direct-Hire or Temp-to-Hire. No benefits are offered during the Temp period.
