Locums Hospital Medicine Physician
We are seeking a Locums Hospital MedicinePhysician to provide inpatient coverage in Fort Pierce, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative hospital medicine team dedicated to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care in a supportive clinical environment.
Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and manage adult hospitalized patients with a wide range of acute and chronic medical conditions.
Perform comprehensive admissions, daily rounds, consultations, and discharge planning.
Coordinate care with specialists, nursing staff, case management, and ancillary services.
Respond to changes in patient condition and provide timely medical management.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record.
Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Qualifications
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
Active Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
Current DEA registration.
BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
Previous hospitalist experience preferred.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
