THE TEAM
The Rosewood Residences team focuses on delivering distinctive, service-led residential experiences that enrich everyday living and foster meaningful connections between people and place. Culinary experiences play an essential role in shaping the resident journey through thoughtful dining, personalized service, and elevated lifestyle moments.
This role partners closely with Residential Operations, Food & Beverage, and on-site leadership teams to ensure Rosewood’s service philosophy, quality standards, and Relationship Hospitality approach are reflected across all culinary experiences.
YOUR ROLE
The Head Chef contributes to the success of Rosewood Hotel Group by leading culinary operations within standalone residential developments. This role plays a key part in delivering refined dining experiences that align with Rosewood’s values, service philosophy, and luxury residential standards.
The position oversees day-to-day kitchen operations, menu development, culinary innovation, and team leadership while fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, personalization, and operational excellence. Through close partnership with operational and food & beverage leaders, the role strengthens resident engagement, culinary quality, and overall dining experiences.
HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE
Lead culinary operations and deliver elevated dining experiences across residential food and beverage environments. Curate personalized and relationship-driven culinary experiences tailored to resident preferences and lifestyles. Lead, develop, and support culinary teams aligned with Rosewood’s service philosophy and luxury standards.
Foster a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence within the kitchen team. Develop seasonal menus and culinary offerings that reflect quality, innovation, and resident expectations while overseeing kitchen operations including food quality, presentation, budgeting, inventory management, and operational performance.
Build strong partnerships across Food & Beverage, Residential Operations, and property teams to support seamless resident experiences. Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, HACCP, and operational standards and regulations.
SKILLS and EXPERIENCE
The ideal candidate brings a strong culinary background within luxury hotels, resorts, private clubs, residential communities, or comparable service environments, with the ability to deliver highly personalized and relationship-driven resident dining experiences. This role requires a leader who can inspire and develop diverse culinary teams while fostering collaboration, operational excellence, and creativity within fast-paced service environments.
The position calls for strong knowledge of modern culinary techniques, presentation standards, wellness-focused cuisine, and evolving dining trends, alongside excellent communication and interpersonal skills that support trusted relationships across teams and stakeholders. Strong financial acumen and experience managing kitchen operations, food costs, inventory, and operational performance are essential.
A degree or diploma in Culinary Arts, Hospitality Management, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent professional experience. Candidates should possess a minimum of five years of progressive culinary leadership experience within luxury hospitality or residential operations. HACCP or equivalent food safety certification is preferred, alongside familiarity with dietary preferences, wellness-focused cuisine, plant-based offerings, and allergen-sensitive dining practices.
