Driver

The Briar Team, Central Florida's top family-owned Site Development Construction company, is looking for a reliable Driver with CDL Class A license for immediate hire with excellent pay and benefits, performance bonuses, profit sharing, generous vacation pay and yearly loyalty bonuses, in addition to training and opportunities for growth.

As a CDL Driver, you will be responsible for delivering fuel or maneuvering and moving heavy equipment to company-owned sites in a limited area in Central Florida.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Loads and unloads trucks with fuel adhering to all Company and Governmental regulations
• Safely operating, tying down and maneuvering heavy equipment for transport
• Safely operates trucks according to Company policies and state/federal laws
• Maintains vehicle cleanliness and replaces gaskets, nozzles and other related articles as necessary
• Performs safety inspections on trucks, equipment and/or facilities as required by Company policy
• Reports any equipment malfunctions and/or concerns to Fleet Manager
• Completes and transmits all paperwork in compliance with established Company procedures
• Knowledge of, and the ability to use, auxiliary pumps for loading and unloading of vehicle and use spill kits and fire extinguisher

Job Requirements

• Ability to safely navigate on and off equipment using 3-point contact
• Ability to pick up and carry 50-75 pounds

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday - Friday. Saturdays on an as-needed basis. 5:00am-3:30pm
• Full Time
• Overtime
• No overnights or over the road travel. No per diem pay.
• Jobsite Range: Palm Coast, FL to St Cloud, FL
• Year-round work

Fuel Truck Driver: CDL Class A license with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement

Low Boy Driver: CDL Class B license or better

Compensation details: 20-25 Hourly Wage
