GREAT OPPORTUNITY!!!
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cherry Picker to join our team in a fast-paced warehouse environment in Ocala, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently operating cherry picker equipment to retrieve and transport materials within the warehouse. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with warehouse staff.

Shifts available:

Weekday: 2nd shift Sunday - Wednesday 7:00PM-5:30AM

Full-time, Temp-to-Hire

Duties

• Operate cherry picker equipment safely and efficiently to pick orders from high shelving units.
• Assist in the loading and unloading of materials using forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Perform order picking tasks accurately, ensuring that items are selected according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment, reporting any maintenance needs or safety concerns.
• Engage in materials handling activities, ensuring proper storage and organization of products.

Qualifications

• Proven experience operating cherry pickers equipment
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to warehouse operations and equipment functionality.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and materials handling best practices.
• Understanding of OSHA regulations pertaining to warehouse safety.
• Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented setting while also being self-motivated.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in order fulfillment.
