JOB SUMMARY:
This is a highly responsible professional position that performs as a team lead for the Payment Processing and Fund Distribution Process and is an excellent fit for self-motivated critical thinkers. If you enjoy problem solving and working with others to improve operational processes, this may be the position for you. Your duties would include:
- Creating and communicating strategic and operational work plans
- Gathering and analyzing information to solve problems and make decisions
- Documenting workflows and creating procedural materials
- Coordinating business activities with internal and external partners
- Preparing and presenting recommendations for process improvement
- Facilitating and leading meetings
- Serving as lead for developing and implementing improvement projects
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.
- One year of experience writing in a business setting.*
- Two years of experience serving as project team lead or project manager.
SUBSTITUTIONS:
- *Educational coursework producing research, composition, or academic essays may be substituted for one year of experience writing.
PREFERENCES:
- Experience working in Child Support Payment Processing operations.
- Experience giving oral presentations through teleconferences or meetings, virtually or in-person.
SPECIAL NOTES:
- Coursework experience must be clearly stated in the application or resume and verifiable through transcripts to qualify for substitution.
- This position is not telework eligible
- The applicant selection criteria (ASC) screening tool has been administratively approved. Those applicants who have met the minimum qualifications and with the greatest points accumulated via the ASC scoring, will be selected for interview.
- This position may be located in any Child Support office with a PPFD team and requires periodic travel for in-person meetings in Tallahassee. This position may be housed in Jacksonville, Orlando, Pensacola, Tallahassee, Tampa, or West Palm Beach.
- There is no skills verification test, however there is a work sample exercise immediately following the interview. Candidates will be provided the details when they are invited for an interview.
SALARY: $53,917.08 - $72,570.36
