Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Haven Home Health is currently seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team and provide high-quality home health services throughout parts of Boca Raton, Boynton Beach, and Delray Beach.

Position Overview

The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide skilled therapy services to patients in their homes. This role is ideal for a clinician with home health experience or a strong orthopedic background who is passionate about patient-centered care and clinical growth.

Requirements

• Valid Florida PTA license
• 12 years of experience in home health and/or strong orthopedic background
• Home health experience strongly preferred
• Familiarity with Kinnser/WellSky EMR preferred
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel within the assigned territory
• Strong clinical, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage a full-time caseload

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled physical therapy treatments in accordance with the established plan of care
• Implement therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance training, and functional mobility programs
• Monitor patient progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist
• Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, safety, and fall prevention
• Accurately and timely complete all documentation using Kinnser/WellSky EMR
• Maintain compliance with Medicare guidelines, agency policies, and state regulations
• Communicate effectively with physicians, care team members, and office staff
• Manage a full-time caseload within the assigned territory
• Participate in team meetings, in-services, and ongoing education as required
