The Lead Logistics Coordinator mentors and leads the team that ensures construction supplies, stock, materials, packages, and/or products are processed through the delivery and/or warehouse system efficiently and safely. The incumbent also works closely with Warehouse Managers / Supervisors Supervisor to maintain and develop inventory distribution controls to support construction and/or launch projects.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supervise a team of logistics employees, at one or more locations.
- Complete weekly Inventory CPE.
- Establish good warehousing practices and protocols to ensure safety and inventory control.
- Perform shipping and receiving orders.
- Maintain information on the computerized database tracking the current status and disbursement of
equipment. - Actively collaborate with asset management teams and cross-functionally to achieve stated goals.
- Create and deliver weekly management reports.
- Collaborate with warehouse to ensure employee asset and internal supplies distribution process.
- Prepare all VR fulfillment requests.
- Respond to shipping complaints, lost items, damages.
- Ensure the safe use of warehouse equipment.
- Ensure warehouse capacity is kept at optimal levels or inform management of deficiencies.
- Manage activities throughout the order fulfillment and transportation cycle to meet established
deadlines. - Oversee inventory of goods and vehicles related to construction projects.
- Other duties as required or assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
- Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent. Associate's degree preferred but not required
- Experience in logistics management preferred
- Minimum of two (2) year's Warehouse work experience
- Flexibility to work shifts in a 24/7/365 environment, including weekends, nights, and holidays based on business needs
