Physician Assistant - Dermatology

Leesburg, FL area

Full-Time, On-Site

What You’ll Do

• Perform detailed medical histories and full-body skin examinations
• Diagnose and manage all dermatologic conditions, with a strong focus on skin cancer detection and treatment
• Perform office-based procedures: biopsies, cryotherapy, ED&C, excisions, etc.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and pathology results
• Create and execute treatment plans, prescribe medications
• Educate patients and families on skin cancer prevention and sun safety
• Complete thorough EMR documentation and MIPS requirements within 48 hours
• Participate in community outreach and skin-cancer awareness events
• Work both collaboratively with the dermatologist and independently with confidence

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program (Master’s required)
• Active Florida PA-C license (or immediately eligible)
• Current DEA and Florida Controlled Substance Registration
• NCCPA certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; dermatology background strongly preferred (will consider high-performing PAs from primary care, urgent care, or surgery with genuine interest in dermatology)
• At least 1 year of EMR experience required
• Outstanding clinical judgment and patient communication skills
• Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented

Schedule & Compensation

• Monday - Friday (8-hour shifts)
• Occasional weekends only for community events

Must-Haves:

• Must have at least 3 years experience as a Dermatology PA-C
• Must be comfortable with a census of 35-40 per day
