Works under the direction of the Manager or Supervisor Laboratory Services, Senior Manager for the clinical lab staff and is responsible for technical procedures at the laboratory assigned.

The QPS location in Miami, Florida is a multi-specialty research center employing clinical research professionals, including board-certified physicians, in a 32,000 square foot space. The Job

• Read and understand the guidelines of the study protocols.
• Perform venipuncture.
• Process samples according to protocol specifications
• Perform and record daily and monthly maintenance of the laboratory equipment and take corrective actions if necessary.
• Verify all reagents and materials expiration dates.
• Perform and record daily and monthly maintenance of the laboratory equipment and take corrective actions if necessary.
• Follow the laboratory procedures for specimen handling and processing.
• Any other tasks as requested by the Manager/Supervisor of Laboratory Services.

Requirements

• Must have current high school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Clinical research experience preferred.
• Available to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays as needed.
