• Location: Port Saint Lucie, FL 34987 (Treasure Coast; Port St. Lucie healthcare jobs)
• Start Date: April 6, 2026
• End Date: July 6, 2026
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,870 – $1,970
• Shift: Day Shift, 4x10-hour shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
• Hours per Week: 40 (Guaranteed 36 hrs/week)
• On-Call: Required once per week and one weekend every 6 weeks
• Floating: May float to nearby campuses within 20 miles (Martin North, South, Tradition)
• Charting System: Epic EMR (Epic proficiency preferred)
• Scrub Color: White
• Parking: Free in any unrestricted space
• Facility Type: Short Term Acute Care Hospital (180 beds)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S. (pending license considered)
• Minimum 18 months RN experience required; 2 years preferred
• Experience in Interventional Radiology, Cath Lab, Neuro, vascular or procedural nursing preferred
• BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of submission
• NIHSS certification required prior to start
• Nicotine-free policy: Negative nicotine/cotinine drug screen required

• Complete time-sensitive onboarding modules prior to start
• Must pass EKG and pharmacology testing during orientation (2 attempts max each)
• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted up front
• COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure nursing care for Interventional Radiology and vascular patients
• Monitor patient hemodynamics, cardiac rhythms, sedation, and procedural status
• Assist with angioplasty, carotid stenting, upper and lower extremity angiography, thrombectomy, and embolization procedures
• Perform sheath removal, vascular closure (Perclose, StarClose), hemostasis, and pressure ulcer prevention
• Maintain radiation and laser safety protocols and follow ALARA principles
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in Epic EMR
• Educate patients and families on procedures, vascular access care, and post-procedure instructions
• Participate in on-call rotation and float to other units as needed within scope of practice
