Senior Full Stack Software Engineer
Location:  Remote, must be in ET or CT

Summary
Our client is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join their team. In this role, you will be instrumental in architecting, developing, and deploying robust solutions for their healthcare platform. After in-person identity proofing and a brief onboarding, this is a remote position offering significant autonomy while closely collaborating with your agile scrum team and cross-functional partners.

Compensation
Salary range: $130,000–$160,000 , depending on experience

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience

• Proficiency with software development (this role primarily uses Go and TypeScript, but other programming backgrounds will be considered)

• Knowledge of web technologies, including semantic HTML, advanced CSS (e.g., SASS, Less, CSS-in-JS), and TypeScript/JavaScript

• Proven experience delivering user interfaces utilizing a modern JavaScript framework such as Angular (strongly preferred), React, or Vue.js

• Strong foundation in software engineering principles: data structures, algorithms, design patterns, testing, debugging distributed systems

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively, mentor junior engineers, and foster knowledge sharing

• Expertise with version control and CI/CD tools (e.g., Git/GitHub, Jenkins, GitLab CI, ESLint, SonarQube)

• Strong understanding of agile methodologies such as Scrum and CI/CD principles

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field

• Excellent written and verbal technical communication skills

• Ability to complete in-person IAL3 compliant identity proofing

• Willingness to travel for occasional meetings (1–2 times per year)

• Ability to work remotely within the continental USA from an Eastern or Central time zone (excluding New York)

• US citizen or permanent resident

Desired Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of the Angular framework

• Experience with front-end state management solutions (NGXS preferred)

• Strong understanding of RESTful API design, integration, and consumption

• Experience with AWS cloud platforms

• Familiarity with Go language constructs and idioms

• Knowledge of relational databases such as PostgreSQL

Essential Job Functions

• Collaborate closely with your Scrum team during sprint planning, providing technical insights and estimations

• Translate user stories and product requirements into well-defined designs and implementations

• Develop high-quality, performant, and maintainable code with comprehensive test coverage

• Provide technical leadership through design discussions, code reviews, and mentorship

• Participate actively in agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, backlog refinement)

• Work independently and collaboratively to deliver innovative solutions to healthcare challenges

• Contribute to continuous improvement of tools, processes, and architecture

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, including participation in daytime on-call rotation (1 weekday every 3–4 weeks)
