Client, a respected legal services firm, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Accountant to join our team in Brandon, FL. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing day-to-day accounting functions, and supporting leadership with timely and insightful financial analysis.

You will handle a variety of accounting duties including accounts payable/receivable, budgeting, financial reporting, and compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will bring both technical accounting expertise and the ability to work effectively in a professional services environment.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports.

• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

• Support budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Ensure timely compliance with tax regulations and assist in tax preparation.

• Liaise with external auditors and provide required documentation.

• Offer financial insights and recommendations to management to support decision-making.

• Bachelor s degree in Accounting, Finance , or a related field.

• Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.

• Strong understanding of tax regulations and compliance requirements.

• Experience managing accounts payable/receivable .

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Prior experience in a legal or professional services firm is a plus.
