Front Desk Receptionist

The Bilingual Patient Care Coordinator with American Pediatric Dental Group in Kendall, FL is the first point of contact for our patients and their families. They must provide friendly, efficient, and effective service to ensure a positive patient experience.

The Patient Care Coordinator will field in-bound phone calls to schedule patient appointments, answer questions, understand insurance benefits, and provide details about pediatric and orthodontic services. This position must ensure that the patient and parent or guardian are the number one priority. This support is crucial to the delivery of the Company’s mission of helping children achieve a lifetime of great oral
health.

Hours: Mondays, Thursdays 9:15AM-6:30PM// Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays: 8:15am-5pm// Saturdays- 8:30AM-1:30PM
Note: Two Saturdays per month, with a weekday off granted when scheduled to work on a Saturday

EDUCATION/CREDENTIALS:

• A minimum of a high school degree or equivalent is required.
• Bilingual is required.

JOB RELATED EXPERIENCE:

• Experience working in a professional, medical, or dental environment with direct customer service is desired.

• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills- must be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships.
• Must be customer service oriented and communicate with a pleasant demeanor at all times.
• Communication- effective written and verbal communication is a must with all inbound callers, staff, and leadership.
• Must be able to project a capable and professional image that is reflective of Company Values.
• Must possess excellent organizational skills- strong attention to detail, be able to multitask and perform job duties in a timely manner.
• Must have PC skills and be able to learn and successfully use new programs as required.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office is preferred; as well as experience with a fax machine, copy machine, and general office equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Dental Office.
• Work hours vary based on the specific office schedule and/or business needs.
• Ability to lift/carry up to 30 pounds and be able to twist, turn, bend and stoop
