About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified CVICU RN in Jacksonville, Florida, 32233!

• Shift: Nights – 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM
• Hours: 36–48 hrs/week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend

Responsibilities

• Provide critical care to cardiovascular ICU patients, including post-open heart and cardiac surgery patients
• Monitor hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, ventilators, and vasoactive drips
• Administer medications, blood products, and titratable infusions safely
• Care for patients with devices such as arterial lines, central lines, chest tubes, pacemakers, and Swan-Ganz catheters
• Respond rapidly to emergencies, code blue situations, and patient deterioration
• Collaborate with intensivists, cardiologists, surgeons, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately in EMR
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and recovery process
• Maintain infection control and hospital safety standards
• Float within ICU/Critical Care areas if required by facility policy

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• Must have recent CVICU experience
