Senior Tax Accountant

Key Responsibilities

• Review individual, partnership, S corporation, and corporate tax returns prepared by offshore staff in Winter Park, FL .
• Detect technical errors, compliance risks, and overlooked tax planning opportunities.
• Deliver proactive tax strategy recommendations to enhance client results.
• Optimize internal review workflows to improve turnaround time and operational efficiency.
• Provide structured feedback and mentorship to distributed team members.
• Engage directly with clients on complex tax matters and advisory issues.
• Adjust and review QuickBooks financial statements to ensure tax readiness.
• Partner with leadership to refine processes and strengthen overall team performance.

• 5–7+ years of public accounting tax experience.
• Proficiency with UltraTax, Drake, and/or Canopy.
• Solid working knowledge of QuickBooks.
• Demonstrated experience reviewing tax returns, not only preparing them.
• Strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently in a remote, technology-driven environment.
