Business Intelligence (BI) Support Specialist

About the Role
We are looking for a Business Intelligence (BI) Support Specialist to join our growing data and analytics team. In this role, you will ensure that stakeholders across the organization have access to accurate, timely, and actionable insights. You will support ad hoc reporting needs, monitor BI systems and data pipelines, and provide frontline support for BI tools. This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong foundation in BI tools and data warehouse solutions who enjoys solving problems, working with data, and helping others make data-driven decisions.
What You’ll Do
• Prepare and deliver ad hoc reports and analyses to support business needs.
• Monitor data pipelines and BI systems to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve data or system issues.
• Ensure data quality and consistency through validation and cleansing activities.
• Maintain documentation of BI processes, data sources, and reporting standards.
• Provide user support and training for BI tools, dashboards, and reports.
• Manage report scheduling, distribution, and user access permissions.
• Collaborate with the BI department to ensure smooth operation of BI platforms.

What We’re Looking For
• Education & Experience o Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
o 2-4 years of experience in a BI, data support, or reporting role preferred.
• Technical Skills
o Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker, or similar).
o Basic SQL skills and understanding of relational databases.
o Familiarity with data warehouse solutions (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, or similar).
o Experience with data validation, cleansing, and issue resolution.
• Soft Skills o Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
o Excellent communication skills to support both technical and non-technical users.
o Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
