CNC Machine Specialist/Technician

We are seeking a skilled/College certified CNC machine setup/Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for CNC machine setup/operation. Implementing, and optimizing manufacturing processes to ensure efficient production of high-quality products.

The tasks to be performed in this role include:

• -Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations.

• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications.

• Determine machining steps and operations.

• Review CNC Programs using machine software simulate, analyze tool paths.

• Monitor machine operations to ensure quality and efficiency.

• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment.

• Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and other measuring tools.

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine performance or product quality.

• Review and Re-optimize tool paths, speeds and feeds.

Required Qualifications, Skills and / Or Experience:

• CNC Machinist:

• Knowledge of 3D metal printing/DED.

• Certified machinist or Operator training.

• Familiarity with basic CAD/CAM software tools including Microsoft Office suite.

• Positive attitude with an open mind to learning and a teamwork approach to problem solving.

• Good communication, discipline and interpersonal skills to interface directly with team.
  Excellent mechanical aptitude, with a background in 5 Axis CNC Machining.

• Superior understanding of Milling/turning/wire EDM operations.

• Experience with quality management system and good manufacturing practices is an advantage.

• Language Requirement: Fluency in English is mandatory, including ability to read, listen, speak.

• Familiarity with Metallography and Metalurgical Knowledge is a Plus.

• US Citizenship required due to ITAR Restrictions

Experience:

• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of machining processes.

• Previous 4th axis experience is preferable with DMG MORI/DMU Mills.

• Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting engineering drawings.

• Familiarity with operating milling machines, press brake machines, and other CNC equipment.

• Ability to use precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.

• Basic math skills for performing calculations and measurements,

• Knowledge of Siemens 840d controls is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time; Expected hours: 40 per week; Schedule: 8-hour shift; Work Location: In person
