Cardiovascular Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Citrus Cardiology Consultants, a partner practice of Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA), is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our growing cardiology team in Lecanto and Inverness, Florida.

We currently have 2 Advanced Practice Provider (APP) opportunities available and are open to training motivated providers with a strong interest in cardiology.

Available Positions

1. Outpatient + Inpatient Cardiology APP

• Primarily outpatient clinic-based
• Some inpatient hospital responsibilities
• Monday–Friday schedule
• Shared weekend rotation approximately once per month

2. Hospital-Based Cardiology APP

• Inpatient only position
• 7 on / 7 off daytime schedule
• Hospital rounding and cardiovascular patient management
• No outpatient clinic responsibilities

Both opportunities provide exposure to a wide variety of general cardiology cases while working alongside a collaborative team of cardiologists and APPs. Whether you are an experienced cardiology APP or a strong new graduate eager to learn, our team is open to training the right Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant candidate.

Position Details

• Full-time Advanced Practice Provider positions
• Evaluate patients and manage ongoing cardiovascular care
• Manage chronic cardiac conditions and medications
• Review and interpret cardiovascular diagnostic testing
• Collaborate closely with physicians and care team members
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation

Qualifications

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C)
• Active Florida license or ability to obtain
• Cardiology experience preferred, but not required
• Strong new graduate Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants encouraged to apply
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Motivated, dependable, and patient-focused mindset
