Lab/Research Assistant

American Heritage Schools-Palm Beach Campus is looking for a full time Lab/Research Assistant.

This unique role involves supporting our science programs from grades 6-12. The ideal candidate will leverage their background in demanding research environments to ensure our facilities and resources are ready for complex student experiments and research projects. Candidate must have a background in education. Minimum a Bachelor's Degree with 3 years of experience is required.

Lab Management & Maintenance: Prepare, organize, and maintain specialized equipment, chemicals, and materials for a biology, chemistry, and physics labs

Technical Support: Assist students and teachers with the setup, operation of labs.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce and maintain strict safety protocols, ensuring the lab meets standards for safety, handling, and waste disposal.

Research Assistance: Provide technical and logistical support for student-led independent research projects, including methodology design, data collection, and equipment procurement.

Inventory & Ordering: Manage inventory of specialized supplies and initiate timely orders to prevent research delays.

Experience in using spectrophotometers, PCR machines, advanced microscopes and cell culture a plus.
