About the Role:

Palatka Housing Authority is looking for a compassionate and driven Resident Relations Coordinator to serve as a vital link between our residents and the services they need. Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for resident inquiries, concerns, and conflict resolution
• Coordinate and facilitate resident programs, community events, and engagement initiatives
• Maintain accurate resident records, correspondence, and case documentation
• Connect residents with social services, community resources, and supportive programs
• Collaborate with property management, maintenance, and social service teams to address resident needs
• Monitor lease compliance and assist with resident education on housing policies and procedures
• Conduct regular outreach and follow-up with residents to ensure satisfaction and well-being

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's or bachelor's degree in social services, public administration, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in resident relations, property management, social work, or community outreach
• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills with a resident-first mindset
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and property management or case management software
• Knowledge of HUD regulations, affordable housing programs, or public housing preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work with diverse populations with empathy, patience, and professionalism
