Schedule: Full time Shift: Day (United States of America) Address: 7171 N DALE MABRY HWY City: TAMPA State: Florida Postal Code: 33614 Job Description: 10k Sign On Bonus AdventHealth Carrollwood 7171 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, FL 33614* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on physical, emotional, and social health status. * Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings, setting goals and outlining interventions. * Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols. * Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary and documenting progress in the electronic medical record. * Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve patient care issues and ensure coordinated, comprehensive care. * Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatment plans, and self-care strategies to empower them in managing their health. * Supervise and guide nursing personnel in delivering safe, therapeutic, and quality patient care, maintaining a professional rapport with all team members. * Ensure safe and effective handoff communications by using standardized communication tools during shift changes and patient transfers. * Perform and oversee complex patient care interventions while maintaining aseptic technique and infection control practices. * Provide discharge planning to ensure a smooth transition from hospital to home or another care setting, addressing the patient's needs and resources. * Engage in ongoing education and professional development to maintain clinical competencies and improve patient care. * Maintain detailed records of patient care activities to support continuity of care and prevent errors. • Basic RN Nursing Skills [Required]
• Basic Telemetry (PACU) [Required]
• Ability to function at a high level in a physically demanding, high-stress environment [Required]
• Demonstrated ability to work under stressful conditions [Required]
• Ability to work irregular hours including call hours [Required]
• Previous Surgery Experience (OR) [Preferred]
• Circulating Skills (OR) [Preferred]
• Scrub Skills (OR) [Preferred]
• AORN Standards (OR) [Preferred]
• Previous Recovery Room Experience (PACU) [Preferred]
• ASPAN Standards (PACU) [Preferred]
• Critical Care Skills (PACU) [Preferred]
• Admission and Discharge Skills (SDS) [Preferred]
• Phase II Recovery Skills (SDS) [Preferred]
• Pre-Operative Patient Requirements (PAT) [Preferred]
• Pre-Admission and Admission Knowledge (PAT) [Preferred]

Education:

• Associate's of Nursing [Required]
• Bachelor's of Nursing [Preferred]

Work Experience:

• Experience in a specialty area(s) [Preferred]
