Salon Services Position

Provide all salon services by each and every spa client.

Responsibilities:

• Provide spa services to guests in a timely, courteous and efficient manner and in accordance with Biltmore standards and protocols as well as leading hotel standards.
• Escort clients to and from treatment rooms, attending to any immediate needs throughout spa visit.
• Assist in providing information to any inquiries and help to coordinate all guest requests for services.
• Promote and sell spa retail products.
• Attend all trainings and meetings offered by the spa.
• Support other spa departments to assure guest satisfaction.

Requirements:

Experience and education required:

• Education: High school diploma required
• Experience: Minimum two years' experience in a similar position in the spa industry.
• Must have knowledge of hair treatments and products.
• Must have knowledge of general modalities and spa products.

Physical demands:

• Must be able to:
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 20 pounds without assistance
• Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping
• Use, carry, and operate all necessary office equipment using finger dexterity.
• Communicate with employees, managers, subordinates and guests through verbal communication, hearing ability, and visual acuity.
• Visually look at a computer for extended periods of time.
• Adapt to moderate temperatures in the hotel as thermostat is controlled by hotel environmental systems. Most work tasks are performed indoors.

Licenses or certifications:

• Must have a valid Florida state full specialist or cosmetology license
