Overview

Our client is a leading energy company at the forefront of renewable energy innovation, seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. This contract position offers the opportunity to manage complex projects ranging from $200 million to $1.5 billion in a dynamic, fast-paced environment at their Juno Beach, FL headquarters.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of project execution for large-scale battery energy storage systems projects
• Manage cross-functional teams including Development, Business Management, Procurement, Engineering, and ISC departments
• Oversee staff and employee management during field execution phase
• Implement comprehensive safety management programs
• Handle contract administration and stakeholder management
• Execute project management planning, cost management, and time management
• Ensure quality control and schedule adherence
• Lead commissioning and start-up of energy storage facilities
• Establish operations readiness protocols
• Serve as primary liaison for public relations and corporate communications
• Act as company representative with local, national, and international regulatory agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
• Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred
• 6-10 years of experience managing large-scale energy or infrastructure projects
• Experience with battery energy storage systems or renewable energy projects highly preferred
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities
• Excellent contract administration and stakeholder management skills
• Proven track record managing multi-million dollar projects
• Outstanding communication and public relations abilities
• Must be available to work on-site in Juno Beach, FL
