About the Role

Our client is seeking a Technical Services Specialist, Associate to join the NEM Asset Operations team in Juno Beach, FL. In this role, you will assist senior-level physical real-time desk trader/operators in overseeing our client's and third-party customers' generation fleet in real-time markets. You will complete daily recurring shift tasks while building foundational knowledge of power generation economics, dispatch characteristics, and ISO/RTO protocols. Key Responsibilities

• Support senior traders/operators in monitoring and managing generation assets across multiple real-time markets
• Complete daily recurring shift tasks accurately and efficiently
• Develop and apply knowledge of power generation economics and dispatch characteristics
• Navigate ISO/RTO market portals and protocols, including ISO-NE, NYISO, PJM, SERC, SPP, MISO, ERCOT, CAISO, WECC, IESO, and AESO
• Assist with transmission reservation and tagging systems
• Communicate clearly and effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Follow established procedures with strong attention to detail

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Bachelor's degree completed or in progress (substantial completion), or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to work a 12-hour rotating shift (Dupont Schedule)
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Business Administration
• 1+ years of experience in generator operations or a control center environment
