Email Marketing and Recruitment Specialist

Responsibilities:
Executing all Centerwide email campaigns
- Develops knowledge of enrollment data for all Lastinger Center program.
- Support the center's email and text communication needs, including-but not limited to-recruitment for professional learning programs, New Worlds Reading applications, marketing and communications, research-related communications, event communications, and internal communications.
- Works with teams across the Center on the creation of effective communication strategies to increase enrollment in Lastinger Center programs and promote community engagement within Lastinger Center programs.
- Works with Center teams to execute recruitment and enrollment communication plans through mass email communications/SMS tools in alignment with Center priorities.
CRM/Mass Email/SMS platform knowledge and tech
- Implements email communication strategy, including audience segmentation, personalization, testing, scheduling, automation, and deployment.
- Creates and maintains deliverability and performance reports for delivery of broadcast emails to a variety of audiences.
- Creates and maintains communication templates in alignment with UF Lastinger Center program brand standards.
- Assists with data reporting and maintains strong relationships with teams across the Center and clients.
- Stays current on trends, best practices, and new marketing/communication technologies and makes recommendations on how to use emerging communication technologies.
Writing
- Develops content for print, web, and email.
- Works with Center teams to write tailored recruitment and enrollment materials.
Other Duties as Assigned
Will travel for assigned business purposes minimally (1-2/quarter)
Hybrid work location policy:
Lastinger Center for Learning supports and promotes a healthy work-life balance. To achieve this, the Lastinger Center offers a flexible, hybrid work schedule that aligns with the university's Flexibility in the Workplace Policy. Allowing employees to stagger arrival and departure times as necessary and to vary the number of workdays in the office so long as an employee's FTE commitment is fulfilled within the university workweek. This policy also allows for occasional, incidental remote work based on individual circumstances.
Expected Salary:$55,000 - $65,000
Minimum Requirements:Bachelor's degree and two years of relevant experience; or an Associate's degree and four years of relevant experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience with Marketing Cloud or Pardot (a bonus)
- Bi-Lingual (speaking, reading and writing)
- Familiarity with Office Suite, GoogleSuite, Microsoft 365 and Mailchimp (or other mass email tool)
