About the Role:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to support our finance team with day-to-day accounting and administrative operations. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, a solid foundation in accounting principles, and a desire to grow in a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable positions
• Assist with corporate compliance and records management
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Review and enter invoices and expense reports
• Provide administrative support to the accounting team
• Respond to vendor and customer inquiries as needed
• Assist with audits and other financial projects as assigned

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred but not required (internship experience welcome)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, Business Central)
• Proficiency in general computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience handling confidential information with integrity
