Position Requirements

• Outgoing, enthusiastic, and professional personality
• Previous experience in cosmetology preferred (not required)
• Excellent eye for detail.
• Team player and willing to help others.
• Outstanding customer service skills and professional presentation.
• Maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:

• Acts with integrity, honesty and knowledge that promote the culture, values and mission of Beach Hut.
• Maintains a calm demeanor during periods of high volume or unusual events to keep

store operating to standard and to set a positive example.

• Anticipates customer and kiosk needs by constantly evaluating environment and

customers for cues.

• Assists with new partner training by positively reinforcing successful performance and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
• Must be able to learn quickly and apply services.
• Manage multiple customer conversations and connections.

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Skills and Abilities

• No previous experience required
• Ability to braid hair
• Ability to learn quickly
• Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions and request clarification when needed
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Ability to build relationships

Physical Requirements

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to be outdoors for long periods of time.
• Constant standing/walking/reaching and bending throughout the shift.
• Constant computer/POS Register
• Constant talking, expressing or exchanging ideas by means of the spoken word
• Ability to communicate in the English language. Second language is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including holidays and weekends and able to perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including heat, sun, wind, and rain.
