Job Title: Site Lead – The Underline (Miami, FL)

Location: Miami, FL – The Underline (10-mile linear park under Miami Metrorail)

Position Overview

We are seeking a strong, hands-on Site Lead to oversee daily security operations for The Underline , a transformative 120-acre, world-class linear park spanning 10 miles beneath Miami’s Metrorail.

This landmark project is designed to enhance regional mobility while promoting community engagement, cultural diversity, and lifelong learning . Through innovative urban trails and programming, The Underline connects people to their environment and each other—creating a safe, healthy, equitable, and sustainable space .

The Site Lead will play a critical leadership role in ensuring the safety, professionalism, and operational excellence of the security team while supporting both the client and the Operations Manager.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Pay Rate: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour (salary-based structure).
• Corporate Benefits Package included.

Schedule:

• Full-Time.
• Must be flexible (including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed).
• Outdoor work in a non-climate-controlled environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day security operations across The Underline.
• Supervise, lead, and support on-site security personnel.
• Ensure all officers are performing to high standards of professionalism and compliance.
• Assist with training, onboarding, and ongoing development of staff.
• Act as the primary point of contact between field staff, client, and management.
• Conduct site inspections, post checks, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure proper incident reporting and documentation.
• Respond to and manage incidents, emergencies, and escalations.
• Support scheduling coordination and coverage as needed.
• Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and service excellence.

Qualifications:

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience in security or related field.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) – Required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods.
• Experience with:
  • Public access areas/parks (preferred).
  • High-traffic environments.
• Active Florida Class D Security License (required).
