Director of Client Enablement - Fintech
Job Description
Job Description
Career Renew is recruiting for one of its clients a Director of Client Enablement - Fintech - this is a fully remote role for candidates based in the US or CET timezone.
We believe in a world of fair economic opportunity, where global commerce can flourish thanks to frictionless exchange of value.
Our first steps in building towards that vision is enabling drastically faster, cheaper, and more reliable transactions for businesses in emerging markets.
We’re here to build. We empower our team to act like founders, make bold decisions, and deliver business outcomes that matter.
Role Overview
We are looking for a Director of Client Enablement who will take full ownership of our sales solutioning, client onboarding and implementation function. This is a key management role that requires both operational know-how and tactical execution . You’ll be building our solutioning and implementation function from the ground up, and ensuring we design the best cross-border payment solutions for global clientele.
This is a role for someone with a founder’s mindset : a builder who thrives in ambiguity, moves fast, and takes responsibility end-to-end. You’ll need to be equally comfortable diving into the deepest details with clients as you are designing solutioning proposals.
Key Responsibilities
Own client solutioning: Design flow-of-funds structures, create tailored solution proposals, and present to prospect clients. Support the sales team and take prospective deals through the steering committee process, ensuring alignment with business priorities and risk appetite.
Enable client education: Equip clients with a deep understanding of the platform, its value, and its functionality, ensuring they maximize impact and adoption.
Accelerate onboarding: Drive fast and efficient client onboarding, building confidence and reducing friction in setup.
Guide implementation: Walk clients through structured implementation plans across both web app and API integrations, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and timeliness.
Build frameworks from scratch: Develop the end-to-end solutioning and implementation framework, materials, and processes that serve as the foundation for client success.
Evaluate business impact: Assess prospective deals for feasibility, commercial potential, and risk alignment, making recommendations that safeguard company interests.
Support end-to-end: Provide direct support across the entire client journey (from pre-sales to post-sales) ensuring clients are successfully activated and continuously supported.
Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner closely with sales, product, compliance, and engineering to ensure clients receive holistic and seamless support.
Qualifications
Proven track record of delivering client solutions and implementation in growth stage fintech companies.
Experience: 8+ years in sales engineering and/or implementation roles in high-growth fintech startups or tech companies, ideally in payments (experience with stablecoins is a plus but not required).
High Caliber Internal and External Communication Skills: Exceptional client experience, customer support and/or customer success framework, with a clear ability to engage with clients.
Leadership style: A founder mindset with exceptional agency. You're self-motivated, resourceful, and thrive in ambiguous environments.
Strategic acumen: Ability to toggle between granular details (complex flow of funds) and big-picture vision - positioning for multi-billion-dollar market dominance.
Drive and prioritization: Relentless focus on execution with an ability to build from scratch; you measure success by outcomes and business impact.
What We Offer
Autonomy and ownership: Freedom to shape your role, work with top-tier talent in a high-agency environment, and resources to innovate without bureaucracy.
Equity: Significant equity stake in a rapidly growing series A startup. Own your impact and share in our success.
Compensation and flexibility: Market-leading salary, performance bonuses, and top health insurance in a remote-first environment with unlimited PTO.
Impactful work: Join a mission-driven team revolutionizing payments for underserved markets, with the chance to build legacy-defining technology.
