Yes Job Description: STRATEGIC INITIATIVES DIRECTOR Support mission-critical initiatives and enable the growth of our business as a Strategic Initiatives Director at GDIT. GDIT is seeking an Strategic Initiatives Director to lead and contribute to growth strategies on GDIT Programs. In this role you will serve as a key contributor to GDIT's efforts in this domain. Manages or supervises multiple departments or disciplines. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
As a Strategic Initiatives Director , the work you'll do at GDIT will be impactful to the mission.
- Analyze budgeting process and funding priorities to forecast future capability requirements and align business development efforts accordingly
- Lead account growth, business development, and customer relationship management across all levels within assigned accounts, ensuring alignment with sector goals and account plans
- Identify, qualify, and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across assigned sectors or market segments
- Meet with customers to gather territory insights, understand mission priorities, and position solutions that support customer objectives
- Collaborate with capture teams and solution developers to align offerings with operational requirements and ensure feasibility, resource planning, and mission relevance
- Evaluate emerging technologies and management strategies to recommend innovative, compliant solutions that enhance mission performance and meet regulatory standards
- Partner with internal teams, vendors, and strategic partners to deliver integrated solutions through existing relationships and industry alliances
- Plan and manage technical and management strategies from concept to implementation, ensuring scalability, security, and long-term sustainability
- Ensure all solutions meet applicable security, compliance, and regulatory standards while addressing both current and emerging customer needs

- Education: Bachelors degree. In lieu of degree, 19+ years' experience serving in key leadership roles as a Senior Officer, Senior Enlisted Leader, or Senior NCO with 10+ years' experience.
- Experience: 15+ years' experience serving in key leadership roles as a Senior Officer, Senior Enlisted Leader, or Senior NCO with 10+ years' experience. 5 years of experience in business and/or strategy development in support of DOD contracts or commands.
- Role requirements: Proven experience designing and leading strategy discussions centered on Technical and Management Execution. Strong knowledge of DoD acquisition policy. Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

The likely salary range for this position is $187,000 - $253,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range. Scheduled Weekly Hours:
