Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Bakery Assistant Manager to join our team. In this role, you will support the daily operations of the bakery, ensuring all products meet our high standards for quality and presentation. You’ll also help manage inventory, maintain food safety compliance, and lead the team to deliver excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily bakery operations and team performance
• Ensure products are prepared, baked, and displayed according to company standards
• Monitor ingredient and product inventory, and assist with ordering supplies
• Enforce food safety and hygiene procedures
• Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer inquiries or concerns
• Support training and guidance of team members
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bakery or similar food service environment
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry preparation
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Understanding of food safety regulations and hygiene practices
• Ability to manage inventory and control waste
• Leadership qualities and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced English required; Spanish is a plus
• Cake decorating skills are a plus
